Students in the Department of Music will perform in the Symphonic Band Concert, April 17 at SUNY New Paltz.

Artwork by many student artists will be on display in SUNY Oneonta's Martin-Mullen Art Gallery for the "Annual Student Juried Art Exhibition 2018" in the Fine Arts Center from April 5 to May 12. A reception for the artists along with live music and food is planned for Thursday, April 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Featured art works were chosen from an open jury process and works entered by the art faculty. Painting, drawing, sculpture, digital print, digital video, and an assortment of mixed media make up this year's offerings. All are invited to attend the reception and the exhibition.

Painting, drawing, sculpture, digital print, digital video, and an assortment of mixed media make up this year's offerings. All are invited to attend the reception and the exhibition. A total of 24 awards worth $2,900 will be given. Awards include the Jean Parish Art on Campus Awards, the George E. Zimmerman Memorial Awards, the Martin-Mullen Art Gallery Awards and the Golden Artist Colors Inc. Gift Certificate Awards. The cash awards are supported by gifts made to the Foundation at Oneonta for student artwork awards.

Muhlenberg encourages students in every major to study abroad while earning college credit towards their degree. In fact, 52.4% of our graduates from the Class of 2017 studied abroad during their college career. The College supports four discipline-specific study abroad opportunities as well as offering over 100 approved programs in Europe, Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Africa.

More than 60 students from all academic fields took part last summer in Muhlenberg's undergraduate research program, working with faculty mentors on campus.

One hundred and six students out of 210 enrolled in the PGA Golf Management Program at Coastal Carolina University currently have GPAs above a 3.0. The minimum GPA to remain eligible for the program is a 2.0.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

More than 300 students met requirements for graduation from SUNY Oneonta following the Fall 2017 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. They also are eligible to participate in the college's commencement on May 12.

Western New England University congratulates 734 students named to the Fall 2017-2018 Dean's List. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the fall semester 2017. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The Iowa State University College of Human Science's Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of 2017.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the fall semester 2017. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

SUNY Oneonta's all-female a cappella group, Pitch Slapped, competed for the first time in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Central Quarterfinal on Feb. 10 at Ithaca High School. Pitch Slapped was one of nine teams from the surrounding area that performed at Kulp Auditorium in hopes of advancing to the ICCA Central Semifinal. The 18-member ensemble performed a set that included "Rise Up" by Andra Day, "River" by Bishop Briggs and "Have Mercy" by Eryn Allen Kane. "River" was arranged by Taylor Metz, a sophomore and one of the group's musical directors. Pitch Slapped vice president, Jaidin Tonneson, who documented the trip on the college's Snapchat, said the young women plan to attend again next year.

SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester, a recognition for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Golden Wolves have been named to spring athletic teams at Alvernia University.

More than 30 Knox College students undertook internships, community service, or other research and creative work with the help of Mellon Experiential Learning Fellowships.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Erika Riley '19 used her Mellon Fellowship to intern with New York Spaces magazine in Manhattan. Riley is the current editor-in-cheif of The Knox Student and the internship is a step forward in her already impressive journalsim career.
