Some 2,329 students were awarded a variety of bachelor's degrees during the University of Vermont's 215th commencement ceremonies on May 22. Approximately 502 advanced degrees were awarded by the UVM Graduate College, and 106 took the oath of Hippocrates following the awarding of their M.D. degrees at ceremonies of the UVM College of Medicine.

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2016 semester.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Students who have completed at least 12 credit hours and who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher qualify for the dean's list at Buffalo State. We are pleased to recognize the following students who attained this honor in the Spring 2016 semester.

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 172nd commencement ceremony on May 8, 2016. The OWU Class of 2016 included 390 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with 65 cum laude, 43 magna cum laude, and 20 summa cum laude honorees. James Madison University is pleased to announce the following students who graduated during the May 6, 2016 commencement exercises.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Spring Semester 2016. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the spring semester 2016. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean's List for Spring 2016.

More than 500 students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2016 semester at SUNY Canton.

A total of 1,469 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Members of the Class of 2016 received their diplomas May 15 at the 195th Colgate University Commencement. Robert D. Manfred Jr. P'16, the commissioner of Major League Baseball, delivered the keynote address.

More than 500 Buffalo State students presented their own research or creative work at the annual Student Research and Creativity Celebration held on campus in April 2016. Students from many academic disciplines including art, business, education, science, and technology explained their work using posters or presentations. Gallery and performance space was allocated to students in the performing and visual arts.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 920 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2016 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, graduates in the Class of 2016 took center stage for Elizabethtown College's 113th Commencement. Regina Benjamin, 18th U.S. Surgeon General, was speaker.

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Spring 2016. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2015-16 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Nearly 600 students received bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies held on May 22 in Canton, New York.

Students graduated from Clarkson University on May 7.

693 students received a degree, including 463 Bachelor of Arts degrees; 187 graduate studies degrees and certificates; and 43 Continuing and Career, during Assumption College's 99th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7. Carolyn Woo, Ph.D., CEO of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), delivered the commencement address. Honorary degrees were conferred upon Dr. Woo; Dr. James O'Connell, president of Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program; and Assumption alumni Dr. Fred Bayon '65, Board Chair Emeritus, and Michael Tsotsis '71, Trustee Emeritus. Francesco C. Cesareo, Ph.D., president of Assumption College, congratulated the graduates and reminded them that the values they have had instilled in them over the last four years are ones that will continue to shape their lives and guide them as they serve their purpose in the world.

43 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta men's lacrosse team during the 2016 spring season.

Buffalo State is proud to recognize the undergraduate students who have completed at least 45 credit hours (30 credit hours for transfer students) at Buffalo State and achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize more than 1,000 candidates for graduation during the College's Bicentennial Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 21. The graduating Class of 2016 will be honored at a special ceremony befitting SUNY Potsdam's 200th anniversary.
