Samford University releases dean's lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Members of the Class of 2015 received their diplomas Sunday, June 14. About 500 students received their degrees at the College's 221st Commencement.

A total of 1,553 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2015 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

More than 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2015 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Spring 2015. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

At the 21st annual SUNY New Paltz Student Research Symposium, more than 80 students joined their faculty mentors in presenting the results of collaborative research projects in an array of academic disciplines.

Nineteen SUNY Oneonta students were inducted into the college's Beta Gamma Sigma honor society chapter during a ceremony on April 24. Only the best business students in the world, and the professionals who earn the distinction of "the Best in Business" during their academic careers, can claim this international honor. Students ranking in the top 10 percent of the baccalaureate and top 20 percent of graduate programs at schools accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business are eligible for lifetime membership in this international honor society. Beta Gamma Sigma has installed collegiate chapters and inducted students on six continents.

The International Sociology Honor Society recognizes academic excellence in the study of sociological theories and research methodologies, as well as the application of this knowledge to understanding social problems and social justice

Ithaca College student-athletes representing all 27 varsity sports are learning valuable leadership skills in IC's Leadership Academy.

Lambda Epsilon Sigma is Stonehill's Honor Society. The purpose of the society is to recognize and promote scholarship. Juniors and seniors who have attained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average are invited to apply for consideration. Acceptance into the society is based on evidence of academic achievement, of a pursuit of learning that extends beyond the classroom environment and of an ability to communicate effectively through writing.

Faculty members at the State University of New York at Geneseo have elected 83 students to the college's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most widely known academic honor society. The SUNY Geneseo chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society recently inducted students into the organization during a campus ceremony. Juniors or seniors with a grade point average that places them in the top 15 percent of their class are eligible for membership.
