Approximately 300 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's summer graduation ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the HTC Center. Pam Martin, Ph.D., professor of politics and international relations, discussed the true value of their diplomas as they begin a new chapter in their lives and placed the new graduates' achievement in a global perspective. "Slightly under 7 percent of the world's population has the degree that you have earned today," she said. "Sixty percent of your fellow U.S. citizens do not have such a degree. Given these statistics, it is clear that you have something to celebrate today!"

Select students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Nearly 1,000 students were honored at SUNY Oneonta's 126th commencement on May 16, 2015. Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 1,400 students during the winter, spring and summer terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees since the winter 2015 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.
